A collaboration celebrating 65 years of Dr. Martens’ iconic 1461 shoe, shaped by shared values of thoughtful utilitarian design and specialist manufacturing.

Inspired by a British postal worker’s shoe from the Dr. Martens archive and made in their Northamptonshire factory, the MHL. 3-eyed shoe features flat unwaxed cotton laces, a double-stitched toe cap, a padded heel collar and a leather heel tab.


SHOP THE COLLABORATION

A grained, oiled, chrome-free leather specially sourced from Leeds-based tannery C. F. Stead has a supple matte finish, complementing the black-on-black Goodyear welt stitch detailing and smoke grey colour of Dr. Martens’ unique air-cushioned sole.

Photographed and directed by Kuba Ryniewicz at the Dr. Martens factory and at our MHL. Old Nichol Street shop, the collaboration campaign perfectly captures the synergy between working environments and the individual characters of the dedicated people who work in them.
