TIBOR REICH: ART OF COLOUR & TEXTURE
A book celebrating the centenary of Tibor Reich, a pioneering post-war textile designer, who brought modernity into British textiles and ceramics.
Reich was born in Budapest and studied architecture and textiles in Vienna before moving to Britain in 1937. In 1946 Reich set up Tibor Ltd, introducing bright new colours and textures into the drab interiors of post-war Britain.

In 2015 Margaret Howell was invited by Tate Britain to design an exclusive collection of clothes to accompany their Barbara Hepworth Sculpture for a Modern World, a major retrospective exhibition which ran from June to October 2015.
This calendar shows a selection of twelve covers from the many exhibition catalogues produced during Barbara Hepworth’s career.

ROBIN DAY CENTENARY
To mark the centenary, Margaret Howell, along with a select group of ten contemporary designers (Barber Osgerby, Ilse Crawford, Tom Dixon, Martino Gamper, Kenneth Grange, Matthew Hilton, Michael Marriott, Jasper Morrison and Terence Woodgate), was invited to collaborate with twentytwentyoneto create a customised version of one of Robin’s enduring furniture designs, the Reclining chair, which was designed in 1952.
