Why should I open an account?

If you open an account you will receive free delivery on all orders within the EU. Your billing and dispatch details are stored, except for credit and debit card details, making it easier to order. You can also join a mailing list to be notified of new items, Sale Previews, and other Margaret Howell events. Of course, you can still order without opening an account.

What will I pay for postage?

For UK-based customers we use Royal Mail Special Delivery service. You can select 2 levels of service - 48hr Delivery for £5 or Next Day Delivery for £10.

For other EU customers the charge is £10 for 2 items or less and £15 for 3 items or more. Delivery time for EU orders is 6 - 8 days.

Please note: At present the internet shopping facility is only available for EU customers. However if you live outside this area we will happily ship to you through our retail store where we can calculate the shipping fees accordingly. How quickly will my order be delivered?

For listed items in stock we aim to ship within 2 days of receiving your order.

What if I am interested in an item that isn’t listed?

If the item in which you are interested is not listed please contact us at shop@margarethowell.co.uk , or call 00 44 (0)20 7591 2255 where we will be happy to assist you.

Are my items insured in transit?

Yes your items are covered by the standard terms of the Royal Mail. All items sent are insured for a total sum of £2500.

What if I wish to return all or part of the order?

We will refund or replace any item you wish to return. Simply fill in the Returns Form provided, stating the reason.

For faulty items we will refund any postage costs you have incurred. For exchanges we will not refund your postage but will not charge for postage of the replacement item.

Do you gift wrap?

Each delivery is packed in a Margaret Howell box. However should you wish a specific item from a multiple order to be sent in its own box, simply tick the ‘Gift Wrap’ box.

Can I send an item as a gift to someone at another address?

Yes. But only one delivery address can be entered on a single order so you would have to place a separate order giving their name and delivery address.
